<VV> Today's coils

Can todays coils handle the extreme heat of a corvair?  The darned things are bolted the the head, after all.  I'll intall it on the rear support beam it that is an issue.  I hate to drill holes or alter my car but I am tired of trying to find a coil that can handle the extreme heat of our Corvairs!  Ernie in Louisville
