Yes, the clutch pilot bushing.

I also wondered about lubricating it, but the Clark's one seemed pretty oily when I got it.  Then, when I installed it, and it was compressed by the tight fit in the crankshaft, it was literally oozing with oil, so I left it at that.

I didn't take the transaxle back off the engine after I finished driving the bushing in to it's final location in the crankshaft to see how deep it went, but I'm pretty sure that it didn't go anywhere near all the way to the bottom of the bore.  Probably the face of the bushing went just a bit past flush with the top of the bore in the crankshaft, if I had to guess, based on how much further I drove it in after the transaxle was bolted on.

I assume you're talking about the pilot bushing and I have another question about the pilot bushing.  I've always put it in as without oil of any kind and never had any problems with them.  I think there was recent discussion about soaking it in oil first.  I just got one from Clark's and will be putting it in shortly.  Is it necessary to prolong the life of it or just what every one else does.  The one in it has been in for close to 25 years and 50M+ miles.

I also just drive them in gently untll it bottoms out with the input shaft.  Ken Clark
