<VV> CORSA - Is Bob Helt THE MAN for great Corvair info?

Now *here* is a perfect example of the kind of articles that would be great to reprint - perhaps even update and reprint!

Before anyone complains that the old guys have seen that article before and it would be a waste to print it again - if you're old enough to have read it the first time around, you're old enough to have forgotten what's in it!

How about reprinting "Stock Is...." - I keep seeing references to it... or issuing it as a collection a la the Tech Guide?

One of the first tech topics I've ever read was "Engine Swap - late model into early".
It was in the September '78 issue of the communiqu? authored by Bob Helt.

I'm guessing he must have been 17 or 18 back then, which makes him....ummmm...
  almost 50 these days ;-)

Still full of great ideas and in my opinion, regardless of who's listening or debating,
his time here in VV is well spent !

  Regards,

  Tony I.

p.s. Hey Bob, with all this propaganda, I should get a signed copy of:
How to Identify and Rebuild Corvair Rochester Carburetors ;-)

Quite a few emails ago there was criticism that Bob Helt was not offering constructive ideas.
Shortly after that Bob offered more than half a dozen good ideas to improve CORSA.
Shortly after that the very same people that criticized him for not offering ideas started nitpicking, criticizing and shooting down every suggestion he made.
It's also notable that the people doing the criticizing don't seem able to offer even ONE worthwhile suggestion.
Bob, you've done a lot for CORSA over the years and there are many people that appreciate it.

  Thanks.
