Not to worry. I put my 2 cents worth into an email to the museum. Not to
worry I was tasteful and positive. Told them that the Corvair was not a
misfit but testament to the forward thinking of GM in the mid to late 50's.
The list said that it was subject to change so maybe they will take it out
of the list. After all I can't let them showcase my year or any other for
that matter!

The Petersen Automobile Museum in L.A. is mounting an exhibition entitled
"What Were They Thinking? The Misfits of Motordom" starting February 28th
and running through September 20th.

Fearing the worst, I wrote asking for a list of the cars to be  featured.
