My guess would be that the diagram shows both the Manual Trans switch -  
under the car - and the Powerglide switch - behind the dash mounted gear  
selector. You would not normally need both - Except if you are drawing a diagram  for 
the mechanics to use. <grin> Also of note - Back-up lights were an  option on 
early 1965 500 models, not standard. Those not fitted with the back-up  lights 
had these goofy polished and coated aluminum tail-light look-a-likes  in the 
rear cove. Those are pretty rare items since only a few cars had them.  They 
are also pretty useless. Tell your friends they are hub caps for a 1/2  scale 
car.
