The original "spears" were straight.  But the bracket that holds them in 
place is pretty long and will likely straighten it out for you.

BTW, repro ones are now available - but in a softer (easier to dent) form of 
aluminum.

Its close to time to put my car back together. I purchased our 65 Coupe 
totally disasembled so I dont know how things looked before disasembly. My 
question is the rocker trim I have has a bow or about a 3 inch arch from end 
to end. Im assuming this is the way the pieces were made to help keep them 
straight after assembly, am I correct? Thanks to anyone who can tell me.
