Our good friends at Hemmings have twice mentioned Corvairs in the February  
2009 issue of Hemmings Motor News (that's their original publication that's  
primarily classified ads on newsprint).  On page 20 in their "Cyber  Cruising" 
column they showcase Gary Aube's excellent Web site.  Then, in  his "The Long 
Way Around" column on page 84 David LaChance turns to orphans  arguing that 
Saturn has already become an orphan because current models are  basically badge 
engineered Opels.  He says the Saturn was originally "the  heir to the Vega and 
the Corvair" since it debuted  as "the latest in a  line of innovative cars 
meant to push the foreign invaders from our  shores."  He makes a good point.
