With a good recent thread on Halogen lights, good grounding, etc., it might
be a good time to remind us all here that an excellent reason for a good
ground is that the little worker bee ( the electrons ) of the electronics
world comes from the NEGATIVE side of the battery, not the Positive side,
which means that the worker electrons get to your headlights ( for one
example ) thru your car chassis, not the wire from your light switch ( or
positive terminal of a relay ) ....

.......... and after doing their work at the light bulbs, the poor,
underfed, worn out electron army have to make the perilous journey back to
the positive battery pole ... thru a labrynth of relays, corroded plugs
and wiring harness, too small of wiring size( tight squeeze ) , and half
the time, the final short trip thru a corroded and intermittent positive
battery cable (g) ...

So, while watching the super bowl and crunching down that bowl of popcorn
.... hoist a cold brewsky to that somewhat rusted 48 years old sheet metal
body shell that actually carries those worker electrons to their destiny ...
oh, and make yet another new years resolution to go thru your corvair and
create better " grounds" instead of all those corroded sheet metal screws we
all know we all use at " current " (g) time ...
