<VV> 5 speed tranny?

Well, we have a 1954 Ford F750 on the farm and it has a 5 speed. So, 
Americans were building such trannies... <G>

And my 1959 Lancia Appia *Panel Truck* has one. As did the 1948 Lancia 
Ardea
that I sold last year (the Ardea was the first series production car 
with a
5-speed in the world, and the Appia was its immediate successor).
