<VV> 63 Turbo crossover and inlet pipe

Three times I have had to pull my eng./diff. out in order to get the diff.  
worked on and twice lately for a clutch job.  Now the clutch is hung up for  
some reason and when i went to pull the crossover pipe from the turbo inlet  
pipe, I found they had stuck together for a 3rd time..even though I left  the 
clamps quite loose..I guess heat swells the metal, causing a dent around the  
clamps locking the pipes together.  Does anyone know a way to modify  this 
connection like with a compression fitting or some other connection that  won't 
clamp and lock the pipes together???
