Frank,  The push rod seals are not a hard job, just a tedious  one.  You have 
to "do it by the numbers" so to speak--the first time I did  my "o" rings it 
took a whole weekend.  But if the leak is at the back of  the motor (back of 
the car) there are many other areas that could leak that are  easier to repair. 
 If the bell housing area is leaking it may not be a main  seal.  I'd spend 
the time to isolate the source of the drip on the engine  itself first by 
working up from where it appears at the bottom of the  engine.  Let us know what 
you find.
