Just some thoughts. I had been involved with life and many other things, and for years I had nothing to do with corvairs, or CORSA. I had to sell my beloved vert to finish school, and frankly did not have the money to mess with it. That was the early 80s. When I finally got a computer, in the late 90s, I did some searching and found the CORSA website. I am now back, with 3 corvairs, non of which I have the money to mess with, but will soon. I would never have found the cars, or the will to rejoin, and get back into the hobby without CORSA and the members of VV. I was the only one, or so I thought, who was interested in vairs, in the area. Because of this site, I found Vince Singer. That's 2 of us. Vince drives a lot, and he seems to have a knack for finding corvair folks. He has found several people in the surounding towns, as well as here in Lubbock, that would like to get back in the hobby. We are trying to get a club organised, and find a building to store, and work on vairs, or other cars. Again, non of this would be happening without CORSA. Is it perfect?, NO, is it good and nessessary?, YES. Dues increase, fine. The communique alone is worth the price. It is a quality mag, and I look foward to it each month. I am here for the long haul, and will stay no matter the price. There must be others out there in the same boat as me. Wanting to mess with vairs again, but with no support, why bother? CORSA is the support! I am only 56, young by CORSA standards, I suppose, so I will be here a while. Just keep it going, and find some way to attract new, and younger members. That is what should be being talked up. CORSA is good, how do we make it better? BRUCE, 65 corsa, 65 monza vert, and 61 Lakewood wagon. Keep up the good work!
