Comcast is up to $109 mo w/ computer access (Internet & email), but not all digital TV channels, Basic plus minimum to get Speed Channel; no HBO etc.

Verizon has FIOS available at low intro rate but suspect once it expires, it will be alongside Comcast in price...

Matt, you lucky dog, you. Around here, in the technological backwash of
Ohio, my choices are 1)HughesNet at twice my present cost, 2)
Time-Worthless, at half again my present cost (and no doubt including all
the attendant TW BS with it), and X-5 wireless, at a quarter more than my
present cost. X-5 is a "local" high-speed that uses dialup for uploading
but a local base-antenna-to-home broadcast for downloading. All in all, not
a very stellar range in choices.

Maybe some day my phone company, Verizon, will actually get their
high-speed service extended to my area. Their deals look like possibly the
way to go. Some day...... (and maybe a house will fall out of the sky, too.)
