<VV> Heat and Vapor Lock

 Any suggestions for dealing with vapor lock
while retaining the mechanical pump?

  Just add the 1967-9  Fuel return line "TEE"  at the pump.

  Run the line upfront to the rubber hose connector at the tank, or even 
just the connector over the L rear wheel..

  To eliminate VL.. you either COOL  the fuel system,  Increase Flow,  
or use higher pressure.
