<VV> Vapor Lock - Thanks for the replys

Quick replies and good suggestions. The problem is as Frank described in his first paragraph:

"If you can start cold and drive a short OR long distance with no 
trouble, then stop for 10 minutes or so and a restart results in running 
for only a few minutes, that is vapor lock."

However, I have never really cleaned out the fuel tank and I would hazard to say that this is an original sock. So, time to change my socks. Also, I'll replace all of the rubber hoses in the fuel line. They're probably old and hard. The fuel pump is pretty old too. I have a couple of good replacement pumps. I'll install one of those. The shrouding is pretty tight around the engine, but I'll check the rubber to make sure it is proving a good seal.

I'll keep VV posted as I make the changes.
