<VV> Car Covers & Condensation

"Condensation on a surface results in dew formation when the near surface
air temperature drops to the dew point temperature. The dewpoint is the
temperature at which the air is saturated with water vapor. Accumulation
will be heaviest on exposed surfaces, so using a car cover as a protective
barrier could be helpful"

See a discussion of dew point and condensation or frost.

Much rust occurs from underneath a surface. If you look at newer cars, they
do not have an exposed surface that water can form on, like under a house
rain gutter. The LM front window "sill" valance has such a surface and is
prone to condensation and rust.
