<VV> Wiper motor question

No, there is only one 12 volt input, but several grounds. The switch
grounds the motor. If two speed, it can ground either the high or low speed
winding. If there is a washer circuit, the switch will ground the washer
solenoid lead. The switch is not in the 12 volt hot lead.

For the park function to work, the case of the wiper must be grounded.

Essentially there are two 12 volt inputs to the motor. One goes through
the wiper switch and feeds voltage to the motor as long as the switch is
in the "ON" position. The second feeds the motor through an internal
"park" contact that rotates with the motor shaft. Turn the dash switch
off and the motor will continue to run until the park switch opens up.
The fact that your motor runs indicates it's good. If it fails to park
when connected to the car correctly, you probably have a bad contact
inside.
