John,
As long as the "aftermarket dual master cylinder" is a drum/drum type,  
there is no need for a proportioning valve... they didn't come into use until  
the "disc/drum" days... so what I'm saying is it isn't needed (or in your 
words,  "why bother?")... and I also said the only reason you would want the 
original  style junction block would be if you wanted the 67-69 brake warning 
indicator...  that's all.
As for the pressure switch being "stupid", I'll politely disagree with you  
on that matter as well.
