     But AIR is not the only way to cool a Corvair engine!  Using WATER for cooling let Tom K. make 450 HP for his Bonneville run at 174 mph.

be more expensively redone with finning more like an aircraft engine.  As 
they are, they are economically cooled and run just fine that way but will 
never deliver300 hp in a 24 hour roadrace.
