At one time my '64 Greenbrier was titled as a regular--not
historic--vehicle. The DMV first titled it as a stationwagon because the only listing
they had was for the later Chevy Greenbrier wagon. It took a personal visit
to their office to clear it up.

my 64 is titled by va dmv as a 64 corvette. when i titled car you could
see
my car thru window at dmv. girl at counter said i love your corvette (a
lot of people call it a corvette), I told her it was a corvair. when
title
came back had 64 corvette. county knows it is corvair so no extra taxes
for
expensive corvette also insurance knows it is corvair.
garland
would rather have corvair then corvette
