<VV> When is a Corvair Wagon not Stock?

Okay, all this jabber about a '64 wagon and Mark's 
'65something wagon has me wanting to call Bryan Blackwell 
and resurrect his stalled 1960 Wagon project. Of course I 
would paint it Crocus Cream to match my "twins" and run 
wide whites but no fender skirts. Why? Because the 
original Wagon prototype (XP76) didn't have them. I would 
have Cal Clark make me up a set of correct 1960 cloth 
bench seat covers since the front one he made for my 
recent 500 sedan resto is so perfect! Once complete I 
would try to mimic Smitty's record of driving the wheels 
off it. Would it be stock? Would it be custom? Who cares! 
As long as it is cool. And a clone of the first ever 
Corvair station wagon has to be way cool. Agreed? -
