Coming from one who doesn't remember the original thread---clue me in as to 
 exactly WHAT Pinky's transaxle consisted of..Evidently it was a custom or 
highly  modified unit, but what???
 

Or, some  enterprising soul could hop down to his machine shop with a 
GM Turbo-350  and mortify it to work with a 'Vair PG differential.
 
Sounds like a winner, but would it be modified rather than mortified? I  
don't think GM engineers would be mortified if the job was done right.
