There is a chapter filing fee for chapters that are not 100% CORSA
members.
That fee is currently only $25 and the BoD have been discussing raising
it.

Well, there you have it!! Corsa IS getting paid (probably more than a $1
per non-member) for insurance covering the non-CORSA members. So CORSA should
take the stand that it is a local club's decision and leave it at that.
The local club has made a choice between 100% membership and a chapter fee in
lieu of. There is your answer (for now). And why hasn't someone provided
this answer to Hank's complaint before this?

But why isn't there a larger discussion going on with some ideas and
suggestions for improving this situation? It seems like the discussion should be
much larger and involved than just insurance coverage for non-CORSA
members. The discussion should center around the viability of CORSA's
continuation. Insurance coverage is just a smoke screen.

GOSH!!!!
