Thanks guys for the help on the tail light break light saga. I went ahead
and ran a really small brass nut and bolt through the reflector and socket
base. And, another brass screw with an eyelet on the back of the reflector,
to which I soldered a nice heavy length of copper wire, which in turn I ran
to an out of sight location on good healthy steel. Had so much fun that I
did it for both sides. Presto chango, problem is gone, hopefully for all
time.

You're right, the tabs that lock in to the back of the fender really get
crudded up with undercoat dust and dirt. I'm glad I've got the positive
ground now.

While I had em apart, I ran the lenses through the dishwasher. What a
difference 40 years of dust being gone makes.

Thanks again guys. And thanks VV
