Seth brings up a good point.   He was nice enough to send it off-list 
so as to not make me look like a nitwit.    But since I am a nitwit 
I'm posting this back to the list.


My error...  I'm not an authority on Olds wheels and they looked 
pretty wide, and when I hung a ruler on them they were 8" across, 
edge to edge.     Shoulda measured from bead to bead.
