<VV> engine (only) removal for LMs?

  1 Raise the back of the car at least 30". You want the engine setting 
level when hanging down!

2     Cut a block of wood to place between the top of the Diff. and the 
body to hold it's position once the weight of the engine is gone.

3   Cut 4  6-8" Bolts to act as "guide pins"  for the bellhousing...  
You MUST  keep the alignment to avoid binding!

4    MOST  times, the  input shaft STICKS  in the pilot bushing...  
have a pair of vicegrips / taped / to grab the shaft  and then tap BACK 
 out with a hammer.

note:  engine removal this way takes 30 minutes easily.
