That is my method every time I get new tires. Take it for 20 miles along
the mile markers and keep the needle (as much as possible) dead on 60 mph.
Keep track of the odo readings and the time. Go home and do the math. Put
the adjustment factor calculated into the back of my head until I change
tires again. Well, I might do a second check after 20,000 or so miles on
the same tires.
