<VV> 889 cam from my past and present

i am talking about things i have running at the moment.
one is a 140PG center section  (889 cam with the retarded crank gear  
(advances CAM),110hp heads , dual exhaust , 355 car differential (my  mistake!) 
and.060 overbore.   i just got back from another road  test with it , and it 
feels good.  my test hills nearby are not like huge ,  but they are good 
enough to get a feel of how it will be.
the other is a 889 cam , .020 pistons 110hp heads  on the bench yet.  
sounds very good so far. it may end up with 4 carbs soon.
the difference you notice most is a smoother idle , because of lift and  
duration of that cam.  it pulls good from a standing stop.  with  a 4 spd , 
they are very good driving cars . i dont think the average person  would find 
a huge difference on top end , but it is better low end by far.
