So I never installed the spiggot on the dash, or equipped the truck with a
keg,
or used it as a cooler. Anyone else ever try it, though?

On a late Model, hook up the spigot so you just open the little cover door
over the trunk keylock and the beer comes out into the cup. Like a wine
box!

As in.... "Okay officer, I will open the trunk, but let me explain first .
. . . . . ."

At the Palm Springs fan belt toss, one of the clubs has a converted early
Corvair sedan - converted into a grilling trailer. The engine was removed
and, in the ex-engine compartment lives a Charcoal grille. The trunk is the
ice chest for the soda (or whatever) to accompany the burgers and hot
dogs. A little smoke from the engine compartment never hurt anyone!
