Bill, pretty much the only way, if you don't have a lift, is to jack the car
and put it on stands and remove that tire. The air hose has to come off, and
you have to be careful with the wiring to the starter, too.

Got a friend with a lift? that is the easiest. I usually install the starter
with the exposed bolt first, then stick the hidden one in place with a
socket on an extension, however, if you lay the right way, you can get your
fingers up in there, but I am a lefty and used to working in tight places on
aircraft.
