<VV> Replying to both sender AND VV ? Note to moderator ?

Matt,

Another problem with this is that "Reply" only goes "To" the individual sender, so in order to reply to VV only, "Reply to all" must be used, and then the individual addresses must be deleted from the "To" address box.

I'm using Outlook.

This may be why it is not done as often as intended (plus my inapplicable reasoning) ?

Maybe VV's mail server could make VV the primary, so "Reply" uses that as the primary return address, and the individual who initiated the email would be used only with "Reply to all" ?

Just a suggestion -

Charlie

Sorry Charlie... no excuses... it's Spam... unwanted by most...

proper thing is to reply to VV...... then Forward the VV message to the ONE person...

Yes, mostly correct, and not wrong ;>})

If an email is of general value to members, and specifically sent to the one who asked a question, it could land in two folders on the recipient's computer :

If email is sorted and grouped, one "VV" copy is among all the other messages and needs to be "dug out" while the other goes to a specific email filed, or just the "Inbox" where it is more easily found (unless your "Inbox" is just as cluttered ?)

I often rely to "All" since the sender may want a response before they check their VV mail, but maybe this is redundant overkill ?

charlie... email is emaill...all comes in at the same time usually...

I got both of these at the same time...even though VV had to process their copy.
