I really like the technology and the last video was very good, but.....you have noise. 

I can understand working alone, but what you really need to do is to jack up the front end, camp out under the car and have someone rotate the steering wheel to generate that noise. The problem, looseness and noise will then become self evident. 

If you must work alone because of no one there, disconnect the steering to isolate the steering box from the rest of the steering parts. If you still have the noise & looseness, at least this would narrow it down to the steering box .
