<VV> 140 secondary carbs?

Sounds reasonable, but go with the early 65 140 linkage. Unless you are  
rotating the carbs. (The linkage without the springs on the links.) The  later 
type is difficult to adjust with all the lockouts in place. Especially  
when it is 45 years old!
