Charlie, I doubt that the sender went bad, cheap way to test is to get a 
mechanical Gage and observe the pressure from the eng compartment.  Also the 
press relief spring may be not be functioning properly.

Just got our 65 Greenbrier on the road after a two year plus restoration. Prior 
to letting it sit for the two years (I started it periodically) the Clarks oil 
pressure gauge read about 25 lbs and would vary pressure from idle to driving. 
Now it reads about 50 and doesn't seem to move. Could the sender have gone bad 
(4 year old gauge)? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Charlie
