<VV> If Virtual Vairs were a shopping mall, Rick Norris would be Sears

This is a too easy to pass up...

I think Rick is more like Spencer's Gifts...You're never sure what you'll get. It might make you laugh or smile or blush.
Although you'd most likely find him at the food court or "watering hole" if available.

But I would agree that Rick is indeed one of the great references on VV.

am not a particularly good mechanic and have depended on the advice and
alents of others along the way as I assembled my Crown V-8 .

ick Norris built one the best Crown conversions I’ve ever seen. From time to
ime, I’ve asked questions on VV and V-8 Vairs and the responses have always
een helpful. Rick’s responses have been in another league. I recently asked
im about the throwout bearing he used and details about his differential. His
eply included pictures, notes, and commentary which were exactly what I was
ooking for. The time and effort he put into his reply was considerable. I
ant to share my appreciation for what he has done, recently and in the past,
ith others on the list. In my opinion Rick epitomizes all that is good about
his hobby of ours. Those who give a lot get a lot.

o extend the analogy of VV to a shopping mall, Rick isn’t the only anchor store
e have, but he’s one of the best.
