regular Sta-Bil's primary ingredient is probably BHT, the anti-oxidant 
food preservative -- don't know about the Marine version, but note on 
the bottle that it is 4 times more concentrated than the  regular red 
version -- if one uses the Marine at the same rate as the regular, maybe 
4 times the amount of regular would work, too?

I've had good luck with STP Gas Treatment to solve phase separation 
problems - seems to have some sort of detergent effect.
