I'd guess there may be some minor difference year to year, but if the 
logs fit it must be a 140 manifold - all the other engines used small 
exhaust tubes. The only functional difference I can think of is if 
there are AIR tubes or not, which would be pretty obvious.

I bored out the 3 exhaust ports on each of my 180 manifold to fit the 140 HP ex tubes. I seem to recall the single exit hole was a different size on 140s. I'm Even less sure about ex stud spacing for the ex pipe flanges.
