If you send your drawing to me, I will draw it up in the same style. I also
plan to write a short article on the rest of the “how to convert” to make it
a complete set of instructions. I will include strategy of why you would do
it in the first place, parts required and any problems that one may run into
while doing the conversion. I know there is a VERY good article that was
already published by Bob Helt in the Communiqué several years ago. I just
like to write and this looks like a fun quick project. When I’m done I will
post it here on VV.

Dave, thanks for the diagram, but folks all of you need to pay attention to
the fact that this is for a internally regulated alternator. 

 

I converted my 62 to a regulated alternator like the 65 system and it is
wired different. If you need a diagram for that, I have one.

cleaning engine compartment for new purchase 63 coupe. took wiring harness
out thinking i could remember how  all wire would go back. the problem is i
forgot i could not remember anything. could someone please help and send
directions on where wires go.
