Copper tubing isn't used for brake lines because it isn't strong enough  
(probably too expensive now too).  I had a little trouble putting Clark's  
brake lines on a '65 a few year back.  In my case the left rear  line was just 
a little too long.  I gave it a slight bow on the part  of it against the 
seatback area just before the connection block.  If you  have a quality double 
flare tool you can make your own of course.
