<VV> Naming Corvairs

In 1968, when I had an order in for a 1968 Mustang fastback 302CI/345 HP
special order that fell through, I took my $1000 deposit and bought a 1965
Corsa 140 convertible.

Since the Mustangs, etc, were called "Pony Cars," and I liked Linda
Ronstadt, of course I named her "Stone Poney" with the same "font" as used
on Linda Ronstadt and the Stone Poneys' LP.

My 1959 was then "Stone Poney Vol.II"

It seemed right at the time ...

Charlie
