<VV> 61 Rampside FC transmission shift linkage

I made the 64 shifter conversion on my rampside.  You do need a 64 FC  to do 
this as the floor is reinforced by the shifter.  It is not  too difficult to 
cut out this area and weld it in to an earlier FC.  You also need a later 
tank - I converted by 63 tank by welding in the "pipe" section from a rusted 
out 64 tank.  I believe the shift tube is special too.  It is certainly not 
a "bolt in " operation but not too difficult if you have mig welding skills. 
The later shifter is very nice although I do miss the "mystery" of the early 
shifter.

The 64 shifter is very positive and  my 63 rampside with a rebuilt 
transmission and new syncros  is a pleasure to drive and well worth the 
conversion efforts
