<VV> lockup issues(no corvair)

seems to me there was a couple of popular failures on those , (i have been  
away from that stuff @20 years now ) including brake light switch, torque  
converter , and a plug problem on the side of the transmission. most of 
these  problems left codes that were easy enough to read.
now if my corvair powerglide transmission  would leave me a code as to  why 
it acts screwy (hard to get it to upshift  only when warmed up ) life  
could be more fun.
it shall be replaced soon , then torn down.
