it has been a few years now , but i am sure that they had 140 amp kits and  
maybe 150 amp available. anything over 100 or so would need more drive belt 
area  if really using that much current. if i transmit on ham radio with 
the  headlights etc on  (guessing at 50 - 60 real amps used ) , you can feel 
it  in the power needed while driving at a constant speed. this stuff has 
been on  the truck since the early 90's when i got my ham gear.
i am running clarks best  belts with no troubles (yet?). gates 3VX560  also 
worked ok.but  i like the wrapped belts better.
