In the "pipe" industry, generally anything that can be bent is tube and 
the rigid stuff is pipe.  But exceptions exist, as the copper pipe used 
in houses ( K,L, & M) is considered tube. Go figure...

Now let's get back to hot vs electric valves. Leave the pipe vs tube 
controversy for metal collectors. ggg

Wait, tubes were used in 60 to 62 Corvair radios. ggg
