Do yourself a favor... whenever starting to work on a car...  put the battery on a charger BEFORE even starting the repair / troubleshooting...


 Any battery charger sold in the last 30 years is AUTOMATIC!!  by LAW!!  They cannot overcharge a battery..


 LOW Voltage kills components...even old 1960's items...   not good!
