<VV> Trouble getting Corvair home from car show

I think that what Frank said here is that you can usually make it home on
three cylinders after you've wiped out the other three, but don't count on
it. How far away are you when this happens?

The particles will "float" across the intake (especially if at high speed at
the time) and affect the other two cylinders on that side to the point that
they become trash. Can't grin on this one.

Mine took years to fall out and not return to its proper place in the head.
Of course it was 6 years of not everyday driving.

Clack clack clack quiet...several months pass, repeat...

All the other ones that fell out never returned to their seat. I did drive
home to repair after they fell out. On my car the seats never shattered.
But I have repaired many engines where the seats did shatter. The bits find
their way into all three cylinders. All were driven to the repair shop.
