As some of you may know ;) I've run Amsoil AMO 10W-40 in all my "collector" cars for over 30 years.  My Corvair has been quite happy with it. As a dealer I also offer it at dealer cost + shipping to any Corvair folks who can't find it locally. (E-mail if you want to know more).

I agree that 1200 ppm of ZDDP is where we want to be.  As long as they're available, I'd just as soon use an oil for gasoline engines rather than diesel, but the SL designation is for gasoline engines so no problem there.  One nice thing about Amsoil is they have weights more suitable for colder weather.
