Makes me wonder if anybody read the original post about this alignment 
hole -- for his purpose & for what he was doing one alignment hole works 
fine.  If you are going to take the hinges off the door AND the car, 
then maybe you need to think about three alignment points, that, or 
maybe your hinges need rebuilding, meaning drilling alignment points 
isn't needed until the hinges are rebuilt and the doors properly 
adjusted and worn in.
