<VV> Advice (Remove paint overspray from rubber parts)

Specifically, the body-to-shroud rubber seal and also the 4 black  
cloth/wirebound heater hoses.
Also need recommend on good brand of rattle can undercoating for wheel  
wells.  I really would prefer it's color NOT be black.   A dark  charcoal gray 
is preferred.
 
NOTE:  I emphasized to my painter that I really hoped he could hold  
overspray to a minimum.  He obviously turned his ears to "OFF" position  when I 
said that.
