<VV> Front suspension swap?

Yes, I have installed complete late model front supsensions into early 
cars, mostly 1960's. A direct bolt-in job.  No real problems, the extra 
width from the bigger brakes seems to be a non-issue, with typical size 
tires at least.

The inner sway bar mounts are part of the crossmember, so if what you 
are after is the factory sway bar (I am) you should change the 
crossmember, too.  Besides it makes alignments so much easier, even if  
there are issues with the bolt.  One has "issues" with the upper control 
arm bolts too.  Going to a five bolt rear end in a Sixty is a bit more 
problematic, or maybe I should say expensive -- I haven't done it yet.  
But I do like the bigger brakes on the front.  Space saving spares come 
in both bolt patterns.
